Panel Configuration

Panel messages and welcome messages can each use either style. Neither one is required, and the editor keeps both while you work so you can switch back without losing anything. New panels start with components and a template you can change.

Components

  • Container - A card that groups other blocks, with an optional accent colour and spoiler
  • Text - Paragraphs, headings, lists and links written in Discord markdown
  • Section - Text with a thumbnail or a link button beside it
  • Image Gallery - Up to 10 images in a grid
  • File - A file from a public https link, uploaded with the message (up to 8 MB)
  • Separator - Space or a thin line between blocks
  • Link Buttons - A row of up to 5 buttons that open websites
  • Ticket Button - Where the ticket button sits. In a welcome message this block places the close, claim and summarise buttons instead.

Discord allows 40 components and 4000 characters of text in one message. The meters in the builder show how much of each you have used.

Classic Messages

Message text, up to 10 embeds and link buttons under the message. Each embed can have a title, description, colour, author, up to 25 fields, an image, a thumbnail, a footer and a timestamp. Panels made before components keep this style until you switch.

Ticket Settings

  • Destination - Open tickets as private channels, optionally inside a category, or as private threads in a text channel or forum
  • Naming Scheme - How ticket channels are named (supports placeholders)
  • Support Teams - Which staff teams can access these tickets
  • Mention Role - Role to ping when a ticket is created
  • Form - Questions members answer before the ticket opens
  • Ignore Auto Close - Keep this panel's tickets open even when auto close is on
  • Pause - Save the panel without posting its message
  • Form Answers Colour - The accent colour of the answers card or embed in the welcome message

Thread tickets need the bot to have Send Messages, Embed Links, Send Messages in Threads, and Create Public Threads (forums) or Create Private Threads (text channels).

Changing the message style or the channel posts a fresh panel message and deletes the old one, because Discord cannot convert a message in place.
